These terms govern your use of Dose. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use Dose.

Who can use Dose

You must be at least 13 years old. If you use Dose, you confirm you can form a binding agreement and that you’ll follow these terms and all applicable laws.

What Dose is

Dose is a guided espresso tasting and a community for sharing shots. The scores are an educational, subjective read built to help you sharpen your palate — they aren’t a professional certification or a guarantee about any café, roaster, or product.

Your account

Keep your login credentials secure. You’re responsible for the activity on your account. Tell us at hello@dose.city if you suspect unauthorized use.

Your content

You own the tastings, photos, notes, and messages you create. By posting, you grant Dose a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host and display that content within the app so the service can function. You’re responsible for what you post, and you confirm you have the right to post it.

Acceptable use

Don’t use Dose to:

• Harass, threaten, or abuse other people.
• Post unlawful, infringing, deceptive, or sexually explicit content.
• Impersonate others or misrepresent a café, roaster, or affiliation.
• Spam, scrape, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the service or its security.

Moderation

To keep the community healthy, we may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these terms. You can report or block anyone from where their content appears.

Café and roaster information

Venue, roaster, and bean details may come from the community or third-party sources and can be incomplete or inaccurate. Verify anything you rely on before you act on it.

Disclaimers

Dose is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. Scores and recommendations are opinions, not professional advice.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dose and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

Ending your use

You can delete your account any time in Settings → Account. We may suspend or end access for conduct that violates these terms.

Changes

We may update these terms; we’ll revise the date above and note material changes in the app. Continuing to use Dose after a change means you accept it.
